JOE TIME:Yankees manager Joe Torre is teaming
with Van Wagner Sports Group and Immersion
Media, a North Carolina-based developer of
virtual sports CD-ROMs, to develop “Joe
Torre’s Virtual Baseball Academy.” The
product, which is licensed by MLB and is
available for purchase on MLB.com, is an
interactive 3-D animated CD-ROM featuring
Torre’s coaching (Van Wagner Sports
Group).
